In December 1999 Cavario H. co-founded Don Diva magazine and was the head-writer responsible for 60-100% of the popular publication’s content until his departure in August of 2006. In September of that same year Cavario joined the creators of The Source magazine in launching the groundbreaking publication Hip Hop Weekly of which he is Senior Editor.
Cavario is the genuine “urban” article but his talents and interests have always run a wide gamut thus he was far from the a-typical perpetrator. Aside from being a gifted orator, writer, author and publisher, Cavario is a trained visual artist and even attended New York’s esteemed Music & Art (Fiorello LaGuardia) H.S.
Cavario’s physical prowess and off-the-beaten-path perspective have always set him apart as he excelled in multiple fields of athleticism such as martial arts, gymnastics, skateboarding, freestyle-BMX, motorcycle riding, skiing and rock climbing. Although he retired from street-life in 1997, ending a career that spanned over 17 years, it was his out-going personality and individuality that made him the revered and respected inner-city icon that he remains to be today.
